The 2021 BBMAs was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on the morning of the 24th. On this day, BTS took home all four awards they were nominated for, Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Social Artist, and Top Selling Song. After winning the Top Selling Song, RM shared, ŌĆ£We wanted to share some fresh energy with everyone through ŌĆśDynamite.ŌĆÖ And we think this award proves that we achieved that goal.ŌĆØ Members also blew a hand kiss, showing their love for their fans. For the first time in K-pop history, BTS was nominated for Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Song. This is the second time that BTS was honored with Top Duo/Group following the year 2019; itŌĆÖs also the fifth consecutive year the group was awarded the Top Social Artist award. Meanwhile, BTS has dropped their new smash Butter on May 21st.
